With some help from cluckclucksew.com I created this table runner. The website has a tutorial for a patriotic quilt using these blocks. I thought this block would be great for a table runner. I made four blocks using a fat quarter bundle and had fabric left over for pot holders and coasters. I stitched in the ditch but thought a stipple stitch would look just as nice. Lastly, thanks to help from my mom I attached the binding using 3" strips of fabric. A great gift to pair with hotpads and coasters for a matching set.
